Entering the correct password

When WireGrid is run on your computer (PC) for the first time, an introductory screen appears, informing you that ``Your installation is unregistered''. A reference code is supplied on the same introductory screen. (The reference code can also be found in the file ``setpass.wg''. Note that the reference code, and ``setpass.wg'' file, are created the first time you run WireGrid on your PC. The file is stored in the same directory as the WireGrid executable ``winwire.exe''.)

EMSS will then respond by supplying you with a password. This password should then be typed into the ``Enter new password'' box on the introductory screen. NOTE: The introductory screen will appear (with the reference code and ``Enter new password'' box) each time WireGrid is executed without the appropriate password.

After the correct password has been entered, WireGrid should run without any problems on the PC it has been installed on.

Please note that the password supplied to you by EMSS is associated with your specific PC. If you install WireGrid on a different PC, a new password would be required. If major systems changes are made to your PC, a new password could also be required. If a new password is required, please contact EMSS.
